Re: 1966 Mustang Fastback

Nice looking Fastback dude!

Hope you sell her! Have you noticed the Prices of them on E-bay lately? They've been going as drivers for $7 to $9K, and rotisseri car's are only nabbing in teh neighborhood of $20, to $26K, over the last 3 months.

My Carb man has a line on a 6 cyl 66 fastback driver in Sacto, but they want' $10K for it, and there are several so so drivers for cheaper within miles of it...

NOt to bring bad news, but that's the current economy as of the last 90 day's on e-bay, and one other Mustang site I once attended...

That's one nice looking ride though!

Re: 1966 Mustang Fastback

Thanks for the input. I really do love this car...but it wont be my last. And I still have my pretty little Comet thats in a million pieces...
As far as the asking price; you know the game. Aim high and hit a little low. Its the sellers job to be an optimist, I realize sometimes market forces can be cruel. BTW, I have the car on several websites and local sale...and the offers have been surprisingly high. Ill remain optimistic.
Thanks for the compliments!!
Joe

Re: 1966 Mustang Fastback

Thanks! Yeah funny thing...the cars going to Germany. Im not sure how I feel about that yet. I mean its cool that I got the money, but is it cool to export our automotive history and culture?? Speaking of export...the German dude noted the export brace and didnt realize it was called an export brace because every Mustang he'd ever seen in Europe had one.
Hmmm...

Re: 1966 Mustang Fastback

I know how you feel . I sold a 26 foot grady white boat when I was tired of deep sea fishing . The man who bought it said he and his wife was going to take it to virgin islands .

I asked ...gona load on a jet or another big boat . No he said he and his wife was going to take a vacation and they were going down to flordia in intercoastal waterway . I didnot ask if when he got there then load on a ship or fight the waves leaving flordia . All I was concerned about is wish I could of done that trip myself when I had it . The thing is paying stupid boat payments and gas 3 buck a gal hard to afford to run the sucker . Just watched as he sailed away lol
