Re: 1947 Ford Coupe For Sale

That looks Farking FANTASTIC!

Why are you only asking $25K???

I have been told recently that to have ANY (and I was told specifically, ANY) decent restoration you'd have to pay over $80 thoousand dollars...

This asking price is chicken feed to those prices...

I truely hope you don't loose out on this gorgeous ride!

P.S. Wonder what Rick would say about this thread....

That's the #'s a few idiots on this site will tell you that it MUST cost to restore...
Not that it actually does cost that much but many here will insist that it does.

This Ford is absolutely gorgeous! I totally hope you get every penny and a big Tip!

Hey there Fleet, welcome to FM & GREAT looking car.

When Gary mentions an idiot, it's usually me he's referring to, but that's ok, I return the favor.

Gary, who said "I have been told recently that to have ANY (and I was told specifically, ANY) decent restoration you'd have to pay over $80 thoousand dollars..."?

Again, great looking car, you and your dad did a beautiful job and should be proud.

Re: 1947 Ford Coupe For Sale

Yeah, that's me... Someone (me) said I could restore a car for about 1/2 of what these stupid BS TV show idiots can do and have the same or better quality... Then about 500 people told me I was a retard and it couldn't be done, and that I was just stupid, Etc...

I love this 47, and would verylikely poke someone in the eye to get it if that would help pay for it!

Your Dad has an exceptional eye for detail!

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and I behold thats one fine ride . Love that color . That needs to be brought out only on a sunny drive and take a cover in case of rain , I like that deal !!
