1982 Fairmont Futura Mustang GT Conversion

This car is completely restored. The body was stripped at 82,000 miles to shell and painted, no body filler. The original driveline was a straight 6 cyl, automatic transmission. The new driveline is a 1989 5.0 HO Mustang GT engine with hydraulic roller cam, 1994 Mustang GT T-5 5 speed transmission, and open 8.8" rear with .273 gears. The engine was rebuilt with new rings, bearings and polyurethane motor mounts, and has a holley 600 cfm 4 barrel vaccum secondaries carb, Edlebrock Performer RPM intake manifold, Mallory ignition, Bassani headers and Glasspack exhaust. The Transmission was rebuilt with new pressure plates and thowout bearings, and has a Hurst Pro 5.0 T-shifter. The rear end was also rebuilt. The whole new driveline had 60,000 miles at rebuild. The suspension is full coil-over with new shocks/struts from a 1994 Mustang GT, and has 17" Pony wheels with new low profile Pirelli P6's in the front, and new Nankang's in the rear. Stock interior is in good shape, only addition is the Tach, Oil pressure, and Water gauges.

Less than 5,000 miles have been put on the car since the restoration. .

The car also has a Shelby Hood Scoop.

At restoration, all new rubber, chrome, bumpers, carpet, etc. was used, this is pretty much an entirely new car.

$6,000 OBO! Car needs to go! Will do a possible trade for 4x4 Pick Up less then 75k and in good working condition. Located in Central Pa
