1964 Galaxie Country Wagon

This is a "project" car.
Plenty of plusses to it, but it will take some work.
3 speed manual O/D Tranny and radiator were pulled and placed in the back by a previous owner.
Engine, I believe a 260, is laying in the engine compartment and I would plan on a rebuild if that's the route you want to go.
I had planned on a 460 auto conversion.
All body panels are solid and straight with the exception of the driver's rear quarter.
Excellent glass all around.
Great front clip and trim, one "eye brow" trim missing.

I forgot to get a picture of the floor pans, all are solid with the exception of the area below the pedals on the driver floor.
Car is 30 miles North of Boise, I can deliver if needed or drop in Boise for shipper pick-up.
Car does not run, so it will need to be trailered.

E-mail me with any questions you have.
Jeff

No questions... Just a little something for you...

It's a Fairlane Custom Ranch Wagon, not a Galaxie...

Hmm, I thought the Fairlane in '64 was smaller than the Galaxie?

Re: 1964 Galaxie Country Wagon

Than you have door issues... The vin# in the door ID's it as a:

Body Style: 71B = Fairlane Custom Ranch Wagon 4-door Station Wagon, 24,952 units produced.

Re: 1964 Galaxie Country Wagon

Weird.
I'll pull the Vin tag number and dig out the title.
It's titled as a Galaxie wagon.
Made it through state VIN inspection when I hauled it home.
I honestly never checked the door tag, all I was looking for when I bought it was the wagon body and all the glass was good.
I hauled it home 5 years ago and it's been sitting since then, just not going to get to this project.
Thanks for the input.

Re: 1964 Galaxie Country Wagon

It's not a fairlane door tag. It's a galaxie door tag. The VIN on the DATAPLATE is for a galaxie, what you are calling the VIN is not a VIN, its the dataplate info that describes the cars options. Which under no uncertain terms, this dataplate is describing a galaxie. 71B just means 4 door country wagon.

The door tag does not say anything about FAIRLANE.

So true
Shop manual says :
71B = 4door 6-pass country sedan
