I know where a Replacement 289 hipo block is, I believe it was fresh .030 over. PM if your interested.

Just HiPo 289's? I know a gentalman with atleast 10, 289's lined up under tarps. Most still have oilpans on them so I wasn't able to check the mains.
But there could be a k-code block in there somewhere...

Make me a "premium" offer on my standard bore Mexican block, decked 0.020. All machined ready for assembly. Crank only had to be polished, and was going to put new rings in and go. 77k on engine and it is a 75.

Im in Northern NY.

Have 289, no miles, .030 bore, blueprinted & balanced, Edelbrock performer intake, cam, lifters, valve springs, guide plates, screw in studs, lunati roller rockers, 1.80in 1.60ex, 3 angle valve job, heads pocket ported, eagle rods, sealed power piston & rings, crank turnerd 10/10, new timing chain & cover, ARP rod bolts-main studs-oil pan studs, new head bolts, timing cover & water pump bolts, new water pump, harmonic balancer & flexplate. $1700.00

Its not mine but a buddy has a standard bore Mexican block with all parts sitting in his garage here in Toronto.
It looks like a very low mileage original motor
I guess shipping out of province would be to much weight?
He;s asking $700.00
