wanted 289 hipo

looking for 5 bolt 289 hipo block with main caps or short or long block

I have a complete 1967 289 4 barrel. I was told that it is the 250 horse power model. It has a code tag and the original cast iron intake and heads. I dont know how to ID what you were looking for. If your interested, I can take some photos and e-mail them. asking 250.00 Mike

The early (1964-65) blocks were all the same. There is no "High-Perf" block. The difference in the High-Perf engine was in the heads. They have 5 bolts to the bell housing while the later blocks have 6 bolts to the bell housing.
