trade my 5 speed

I have an 89 coupe with 351w and 5speed.Would like to change to auto if I find someone wanting 5 speed.Just not sure what all i will need.Trade complete 5speed setup for auto setup.

Sorry.Im looking for a c4 setup.Was told aod would not hold up well with my motor.Wanting shifter and all things needed to swap.As everything in my car now is functional.Driven 3 days a week.With pro5.0 shifter and pistol grip handle.would love to find c4 with small stahl and aftermarket shifter.Thanks.

There is no computer in my car it is carbureted.

the aods shift points works off of vacuum and it can be built to take the abuse and has a nother gear what rpm r u going to be running @ 60 or 70 mph going down the highway with the c4 as opposed to the aod so it depends on the way u use your car

Thanks wilsmoku.I dont plan on any highway driving,just playing around and going to strip occassionally.Drive to work a couple of times a week.Just when I want to.Meant to be more of a toy than everday on road car.Wouldnt mind overdrive if I could afford to have built and afford a small stahl.Money is an issue right now.Just want something to trade that i wont have to buy more parts.Be able to swap in 1 weekend.As i do drive to work occasionaly when wife doesnt have anything to do I drive hers.Not turning you down just looking at all options.Just want to be happy with decision I make.Not knocking aod just have alot of torque and dont want one that i will damage sooner than later.LOL.Thanks again.

still lookinf for c4 setup to trade if anyone has one and is interested.My 5 speed is borg warner with pro5.0 shifter,pistol grip handle,firewall adjustable cluthch quadrant.clutch is good.Drove today.Wanting to go to dragstrip occasionaly and would like auto to be more consistent.Thanks for replies.

I happen to have a 77 C-4 built by TSP Trans with Broader perf. red bands , carbon & a host of other goodies.
