Re: 1968 or 1969 Torino or Fairlane Fastback
I just found a 68 Ford Fairlane 500 Fastback with the 6 banger in a garage deep in New Mexico. It is about 98% rustfree and even though it was parked over 22 years ago, I put some new gas in it, changed the plugs and put a battery on it and it started right up. Body is extremely solid as is the underside. We dont get much rust down here. All glass is good except the windshield but I picked a great one up and it goes with it. Has the Magnum 500 wheels complete with trim rings and center caps...... Trunk is solid as a rock and the only thing I dont have is a title. The guy can't find it but you can easily file for a lost title with a bill of sale and a couple hundred bucks. 92,000 original miles. No repaints, no body fixes, no hidden problems. These are really drying up fast so dont wait if you are trying to find one. I am going to restore this car myself this winter if it doesnt sell. Asking $2500 for the car, new windshield, and a few extra parts thrown in. Have 2 sets of wheels for it..... Interior is all there as well. Light blue exterior and 2 tone medium/light blue interior..
Thanks for your time.... Scott
