Wanted: 66 Fairlane FE 390 Z-bar and brackets

I'm looking for a OEM 2 piece Z-bar and the frame and engine z-bar mounts for my 390. I'm on the verge of exploring a hydraulic unit but will seek the OEM pars first. For those of you keeping up with my '66 Fairlane 4 speed swap project. I had been trying to use the Crites one piece z-bar. I was able to mount the z-bar and make numerous massages to the brakets including shimming and the lower arm still hits my headers during it's arcing motion. I'm sure the Crites unit is not within the design parameters as the OEM unit. My FPA headers were designed around the OEM z-bar so I'll go the route of trying OEM before I further "Resto-Mod" my Fairlane. Contact me at fairlaniac@fairlanet.com if you have anything available. I'll take one half of the z-bar if it's all you've got or one bracket, anything!

Thanks!

Re: Wanted: 66 Fairlane FE 390 Z-bar and brackets

Doug,
I have the Z bar inboard frame rail bracket , that has the ball and bushing I removed from my 67 Fairlane. Its the bracket with the two holes that bolt to the frame rail. My car was converted to an auto long ago but this part was left on the frame rail. I removed it during my recent engine pull for overhaul.
