GG Hall Of Fame Road Tour Honor’s The Memory Of Jack Trepanier

This year’s Goodguys Hall of Fame Road Tour will be presented by Meguiar’s and Barrett Jackson. According to a press release, “The road tour departs from Goodguys Rod & Custom Association’s headquarters in Pleasanton, California on Thursday, September 25th, traveling 2,400 miles in 8 days and ends at the Goodguys 22nd Lone Star Nationals, October 3-5 at Texas Motor Speedway.”

The travel package that is included with the Goodguys Hall of Fame Road Tour is simply impressive. Not only do participants get to cruise over 2,400 miles of American landscape–They will also be treated to eight nights at premium hotels, some complimentary meals, a commemorative roadmap booklet, commemorative tour shirts, entry into the Lone Star Nationals, and Texas Motor Speedway track cruise tickets. During the tour cruisers will also have access to a Goodguys support trailer whenever they require mechanical assistance.

Goodguys has specified that, “The Road Tour will be limited to 50 participants and is open to any 1972 or earlier American vehicle.” They continue, “Rejoining this year’s cruise will be Troy Trepanier, George Poteet, Harold & Tracy Chapman, and a host of other nationally renowned car guys including the Fatman himself, Brent Vandervort, as well as Jesse and Jeff Greening of Greening Auto Company.”

To shed some light on the dedication of this year’s Road Tour Ed Capen of Goodguys explained, “We wanted to pay tribute to Jack Trepanier and decided an appropriate way was to dedicate the tour in his memory.” Ed continues, “Jack and Troy had such a blast on last year’s inaugural Road Tour. Jack praised it as one of the best he’d ever been on. Jack and Troy are all about driving the masterpieces they build so we thought it would be a fitting way to honor his memory.”

For more information on the Road Tour be sure to visit Goodguys’ posting of the event. Other than personal planning the only thing prospective participants need to do is download and submit the Road Tour Application.
