Low-Mileage Fox Sells For A Stunning $18,333 At Auction

The Fox Mustangs are in right now, and the market reflects that. If you wanted to go out and buy one with the mindset you’d be getting into the car collecting hobby on the cheap—you’d be dead wrong. There may have been a time when you could pick up a cheap Fox for a couple hundred, but those days are well behind us.

While the price tag on this Fox, which recently sold on eBay for $18,333, is a little above average due to the mileage and condition, it’s a sign that our great hobby is still going strong and growing into some of the more recent muscle cars. This particular car only has 23,000 original miles on it, and it shows.

The original paint, body, interior, and engine compartment look showroom-ready. For the lucky winner of this auction, it’s a great start to a build project, or just a great car to drive. This 1991 Mustang GT came with the 5.0-liter engine and a five-speed manual transmission. It’s also loaded with options, including a sunroof and air conditioning.

The sale price on this kind of makes you wonder what else might be worth an extra buck or two, and what may gain value down the road. The only thing we can be certain of is that the new owner of this car is one lucky guy (or gal) and we envy their recent purchase.

What do you think of the sale price on this Fox? Too high, a little low, or just right? What did you pay for yours?
