Our goal with this build is to be able to have our first full-show Fox to take to shows all over the Middle East… — Fozzy AlJaraisi, Fox Body Composites

You might be surprised to learn that the Ford dealer in Kuwait sold a lot of Fox Mustangs in the late ’80s and early ’90s. As such, those of us in The States, don’t have the market cornered on Fox passion. In fact, two brothers who live there started a company specializing in carbon-fiber upgrades for 1979-1993 Mustangs. Now the company is building an all-out Fox, dubbed Project Epoxied, to bring more awareness to the Fox platform.

“Our goal with this build is to be able to have our first full-show Fox to take to shows all over the Middle East especially the Custom Show Emirates, which is the SEMA of the Middle East and give people a different view of Foxes,” Fozzy AlJaraisi, owner and founder of Fox Body Composites, explained.

He describes the build as a “mix of international love” for the Fox, and that mix will naturally include generous dose of his company’s carbon fiber parts.

“We see carbon fiber everywhere in new cars, its just the coolest thing nowadays. Add carbon fiber to any car and it goes from base to fully loaded,” Fozzy, who was born in Texas and raised in Kuwait, explained. “The Fox body Mustang never had that option, it was filled all over with plastic parts from the factory and it was fine until we started seeing more carbon in the new Mustangs. They had all the cool stuff we wanted as Fox body owners but no one ever made them.”

To bring that modern style to the Fox, Fozzy first set out to build one part that would attract the most attention in the interior.

All the new sports cars have carbon dashes and pads, so it was just the right thing to… — Fozzy AlJaraisi, Fox Body Composites

“That’s when my brother AJ and I decided to start building our own parts. We had one part in particular that we were focused on making first and that was a carbon fiber dash pad,” he said. “Our goal was to make a dash pad at first to replace the stock one since that was the first thing that would catch your eye once your seated in a Fox. All the new sports cars have carbon dashes and pads, so it was just the right thing to do since no one ever made them.”

From there the idea just took off and the company now offers a wide variety of carbon-fiber upgrades for the Fox.

D-Power Garage blasted it down to the bare metal and is bringing the coupe back with this beautiful white finish. We can’t wait to see the final product.

“We tried to do it by hand and create a mold the old-fashioned way but it didn’t work as expected,” he added. “It took a scanner and a CNC mold to get it to fit perfect with or without the A/C vents. We then started to produce some replacement parts in carbon fiber for customers to be able to start a theme in their interiors and it worked.”

Obviously, the company’s new project car looks to spread awareness for the company’s products. However, Fozzy is truly passionate about this era of Mustang and he wants to raise awareness for these cars around the world. He had hoped to bring Project Epoxied to the states, but that might not in the cards for this year.

“The car will be taken to shows all over the Middle East,” he added. “We had plans for SEMA and Mustang Week 2017, but we might not make it in time. There is always next year.”
