Galaxie
A predecessor to the musclecar era, the Galaxie was Ford's fullsize competitor. Introduced in 1959 and running through the musclecar era until 1972, the Galaxie and its' various submodels produced many powerful machines.

1965 Galaxie 500
My 1965 Galaxie sports a 396 ci FE, with ported C4AE-G low riser heads, an Offenhauser Port O Sonic intake, Crites long tube headers, Xpipe, Crower Cam, Dove roller rocker arms, Holley/ProForm 750 DP, a RAM clutch/pressure plate, a close ratio toploader 4 speed, and 3.70 geared positraction. The rear lower control arms are boxed in, with a tubular upper, and Lakewood drag shocks. The front end is completely stock except for the Crites tear drop hood. Never run at the drag strip yet, but have outrun several Corvettes and Camaros.
