They’re encased in epoxy-molded shells, defending them from moisture and NVH for long-lasting performance.

PerTronix Flame-Thrower Coil-On-Plug Ignition Coils provide improved and consistent spark throughout the engine’s powerband, up to 11,000 RPM. The coils are a direct-fit replacement for the OEM units, delivering 15% more spark energy to the plug. The improved spark creates better combustion, ultimately resulting in increased engine power output. They use identical electrical connectors so installation is simple.

The coils are enclosed in epoxy-molded shells to protect them from moisture ingress, vibration, and winding fatigue, which improves service life.

PerTronix Flame-Thrower Coil-On-Plug Ignition Coils are available for 2-, 3-, and 4-valve Ford Modular V8. They are sold individually or in sets of 8.
