Video: Classic Instruments "Pro's Pick" at 2018 NSRA Louisville

If you missed the 49th NSRA Street Rod Nationals in Louisville, Kentucky last weekend, not to worry. One of the most important events was Classic Instrument’s “Pro’s Pick.” Judging was handled by a roster of experts comprised of hot rod gurus, builders, car designers and experts in the automotive media.

Steve Locklin’s snowy white C2 restomod was a killer. Subtle flares, modern running gear and power makes for a thoroughly modern old ‘Vette.

Anthony Nardos’ 1962 Ford restomod really spoke to us. Radiused rear wheel openings, Ford Coyote mega-power and killer build quality bowled us over.

Remember, NSRA now allows American cars up to 1987 to enter the shows, and whether you like later model iron or not, we thought this Pacer was good fun.

Almost 50 cars entered, but when the votes were tallied and the smoke cleared, 12 cars were chosen the best of the best. Below are the winners of this year’s “Pro’s Pick” sponsored by Classic Instruments.
