Event Teaser: Get Ready For The Goodguys Southeast Nationals

Anyone who has ever attended the Goodguys’ Southeastern Nationals has probably been doing so for a long time. Let’s face it, the Charlotte Motor Speedway-hosted event is one of the association’s longest running shows East of the Mississippi.

When you find a recipe that works, you keep it. So, at the Southeastern Nationals, October 19, and 20, you’ll enjoy two days of looking at show-worthy cars, vendors with enough parts to probably build a complete car, and a great swap meet and car corral. Although the show doesn’t “officially” start until Friday, if you are a registered participant and get there on Thursday, you can take part in a poker run that makes stops at several local hot rod shops, and then converges at Fatman Fabrications for the kick-off party.

On Friday, not only can you enjoy hanging out with friends, but participants will also have a chance to cruise around the Charlotte Motor Speedway. What’s more, all weekend, participants and spectators alike can enjoy the Autocross competition. Ending the day’s festivities is a TGIF party at Detroit Speed in Mooresville.

For the car guys and gals who own a vehicle newer than the 1987 cut-off date, Goodguys has the Spectre Performance “All American Saturday.” This is for all years of American-made and/or -powered vehicles to attend on the 20th. Your registration comes with space to display your vehicle, a Goodguys Goodie Bag, (2) One-Day General Admission Passes good for Saturday, Children’s Passes, the chance to participate in Goodguys AutoCross, a chance to win a Goodguys Award, and more.

Make your plans now to attend one of the East Coast’s premier hot rod events and check out Goodguys for more information and to register today.
