Project Magneto is our drag racing 2018 Ford Mustang GT. Instead of seeking out corner carving capabilities, we’ll be building this car to be a full weight drag racer without gutting or stripping it down. We are shooting to have this car run a 6-second ⅛ mile pass on extremely marginal track surfaces.
Project Magneto: Build Summary
After a having a ball pushing our GT500 project at the drag strip, I fell in love with the S550 Mustang all over again.
I knew I had to have one, but I also had to keep up with the raw power of the GT500 too.
