Mustang Girl Monday Dani Armijo

It’s Mustang Girl Monday brought to you by Team Mustang Girls. This week we would love to introduce Dani Armijo and her Terminator Cobra, Lady Venom.

Growing up Dani didn’t pay close attention to Mustangs, she was more into Top Fuel dragsters and Funny Car. She remembers trips with her great Aunt to Mopar Mile High Nationals in Colorado. Dani loved the smell, rumble and insanely loud dragsters, a fact that is still true today. Later in high school she started going to car cruises/meets and Bandimere Speedway more frequently. Dani admired Mustangs but loved all muscle cars, until one night at Bandimere Speedway. She saw the most beautiful black and gold ’67 Shelby GT500 and fell in love. Dani hopes to own one someday, along with many other Mustangs.

When Ford introduced the 2003-2004 Mustang Terminator Cobra, Dani knew she had to have one. It took her some time to finally get the opportunity to own one, but the stars aligned and she was able to purchase not only one of her dream cars, but her first Mustang. Dani named her car Lady Venom.

Lady Venom is a gorgeous sonic blue with a growl Dani can’t get enough of. In the 2 ½ years she’s owned her, Dani has upgraded to full Bassani Xhaust, a 2.76 upper pulley, 3.73 gears, a JLT ram air intake, RXT McLeod twin disc clutch and many other miscellaneous items. She hopes to upgrade to a bigger supercharger in the future, perhaps a Whipple or VMP (TVS) with supporting mods. But Dani’s Mustang plans don’t end there, “From washing it to wrenching on it, I love my car and learning everything I possibly can about it. If I could, I’d have a garage filled with Mustangs, one from every era. A ’67 Shelby GT500, 5.0 Fox Body, ’13 Shelby GT500 and many others.” We look forward to seeing pictures of Dani’s garage in the future!
