Even though the official first day of Mustang Week 2015 starts Tuesday the 14th, people are here in Myrtle Beach early, and ready to get the party started. There were several Instagram meets on Monday, and there were enough early birds to get kicked out of the Walmart parking lot Monday afternoon.
Myrtle Beach’s weather was off to a resounding start as well. Wicked storms rolled through at two separate times, which sent show-goers scurrying for shelter wherever it was possible. Hail was even reported in the area, and flooding was part of the deal, as well.
The weather was so bad that many flights were either delayed, or returned to their departure airport to wait out the storms. However, once everything cleared out, everyone was back in action at the Hard Rock Cafe for the unofficial Mustang Week Instagram Meet.
The official start to Mustang Week begins Tuesday morning at the Palace Theatre for the Meet and Greet, which goes off from 9AM to 2PM. If you’re in Myrtle Beach for Mustang Week, get to the Palace Theatre early, because it will fill up fast.
