Exhaust is one of the most common and popular upgrades for Mustang owners. With the 2015 Mustang riding on a brand new platform and presenting several new and unique challenges, Borla has already developed a full line of products for the all new Mustang. They even teamed up with Ford Racing Parts to provide them with systems for the Ford Racing catalog.
In the Borla booth, the company had a 2015 Mustang set up with their 3-inch race system. This stainless system included all new Borla parts from front to back, including headers, which was particularly shocking since we typically don’t see long tube headers until months or even years after a new vehicle debuts. The system also includes a 3-inch off-road X-pipe, and 3-inch tubes for the axle-back system. The axle back mufflers and tubes are the Borla ATAK line, which give a deep muscle car sound, and the most aggressive volume the company offers. “We have applications for street systems as well, for the 5.0 and EcoBoost,” says Borla’s Tracie Percell.
Percell says that like their previous exhaust systems, Borla’s new 2015 Mustang systems are made from 304 stainless steel, and come with a million-mile warranty. Borla offers systems for the 2015 Mustang in three sound levels, Touring (least aggressive), S-Type (mid-line), and ATAK (most aggressive).
Currently EcoBoost offerings consist of an Axle-Back S-Type system, with other levels still under development according to Percell.
Borla has everything covered for 2015 Mustang exhaust systems, whether you have a GT or EcoBoost, from street performance systems, to hardcore performance systems.
