The 2017 ROUSH Performance F-150 truck follows in the footsteps of the previous model year iteration by offering enthusiasts more than 600 horsepower reliably, thanks to a ROUSH 2.3-liter TVS supercharged 5.0-liter V8 engine.
But what enthusiasts might not know, is that the all-new ROUSH F-150 isn’t a truck that entails just street capabilities. Thanks to a partnership with the folks at Mickey Thompson Tires & Wheels the special edition aluminum-bodied 2017 ROUSH F-150 features a few new upgrades. Most notably, the all-new M/T Baja ATZP3 305/55R20 off-road tires paired with a set of 20-inch Metal Series wheels which have been designed specifically for ROUSH in this application.
“Our Baja ATZ P3 tires and M/T Metal Series wheels are a great complement to the 2017 ROUSH Off-Road 150,” Vice President of Marketing for Mickey Thompson Ken Warner said. “ROUSH’s attention to detail on this special-edition F-150 highlights the company’s dedication to building a true performance off-road vehicle. The Baja ATZ P3 tires deliver reliable performance in a variety of terrains and conditions, longer tread life and responsive handling on the street,” he concluded.
The Baja ATZP3 tires features Mickey Thompson’s puncture-resistant “PowerPly” three-ply sidewall and unique stone ejector ribs which resist stones and cracking. Features such as an extra wide footprint with beefy tread blocks and multi-draft are great for the street; but for the off-road folks, self-cleaning grooves and aggressive SideBiters is definitely where it’s at.
