MMD has been hard at it lately developing an almost constantly expanding line of new parts for Mustang parts house giant American Muscle. Recently the guys over at AM sent us a list of new products from MMD to drool over, some of these are small and others are big, both in terms of price and what they mean to MMD.
First up is the MMD black billet fuel door. Constructed from 6061-T6 billet aluminum this door features the Mustang script across it, and a magnetic closure to keep it in place. This door easily install in just a few minutes, and this one is even licensed by Ford. Part number 41413 is available for 2010-2014 Mustangs.
Next up on the list is a product that we think Ford should have made standard on Mustangs 30 years ago. We’re talking about hood struts, and in this case it’s a set of carbon fiber look MMD hood struts. These hood struts allow owners to ditch that unsightly prop rod, and give the engine compartment a cleaner appearance. They also don’t require drilling, making them yet another easy to install part, whether you’re a pro at bolt-ons or new to the Mustang scene all together. Available now as part number 100336, these struts fit 2005-14 Mustangs.
The biggest news however, is a new wheel from MMD. The 551C wheel is available in three finishes, matte black, charcoal, or silver. This wheel features a five-spoke design that will look great on any 2005-14 Mustang, and the wheels come in 19×8.5, 20×8.5, or 20×10 sizes giving customers multiple options for size and fitment.
Of course this means for many Mustang owners ordering these wheels they’ll also need some new lug nuts, tires, and center caps. American Muscle can hook owners up with all those parts and pieces as well so that installing your new wheels is literally a bolt-on affair.
