Not long ago we brought you the story of a man who used Mustangs to spell out a marriage proposal. Just when we thought we couldn’t top that, we found a Mustang themed wedding, and pictures posted over at Mustangs Daily.

We thought we were hardcore about our favorite car, but newly weds Brian Johnson and Rene Doane have us beat by a long shot. The couple met when Johnson was visiting a friend and noticed a ’94 GT parked in the driveway next door. Being a Mustang fanatic, he had to take a closer look. While Johnson was walking around the car, Doane noticed someone snooping around her car and came outside to take find out what was going on. The two struck up a conversation, and things took their course from there leading to a proposal and this wedding a few years later.

The wedding itself included a 2005 and 2009 Mustang as part of the wedding decorations near where the couple would say their vows. There was a Mustang themed cake, as well as table decorations with a Mustang theme, even Mustang Lapel pins. The real kicker though might be the Mustang themed wedding rings, which would seem to further signify the couple’s love for each other and the car that brought them together.

Of course the couple weren’t riding away in a limo either, their escape vehicle was of course a Mustang as well.

Having something like the love of this car in common will hopefully serve to make this newly wed couple’s marriage stronger, we wish them all the best.
