There is little doubt that with an all new Mustang debuting to the public this week the aftermarket is anxious to get their hands on the car as soon as possible and start developing new parts. While we’re sure many are foaming at the mouth in anticipation none have been bold enough to offer a rendering of what their plans might be for the upcoming S550 Mustang platform until now.
Kenny Brown has released renderings of his 2015 GT3 Mustang concept. These cars feature all the functional performance enhancements that Brown is known for. A wide track, aggressive stance, and both stylish and functional aero treatments will set this Mustang apart. The design was the result of collaboration between automotive artist and designer Jim Gerdom of Design Factory, and Brown, leading to these aggressive and wild looking Mustangs.
Given the success of the current GT4 Mustangs that Brown has been building based on the 2011-2014 model, we have little doubt that he’ll be working his magic on the latest Mustang as well. In a press release about the design Brown says “Should there be interest, the Kenny Brown GT3 Mustang Concept will be a formable no compromise driver’s car for road, track days, or racing, and a fantastic showcase for our products and capabilities.“
There’s little doubt that a 2015 GT3 Mustang from Kenny Brown will benefit from the engineering expertise that goes into every product from his company. Brown has told us before he builds parts for the track first, engineering solutions that solve problems and compromises that are made for assembly line cars sold to the general public. Those race-bred parts are then put on the shelf to sell to street going customers. Customers benefit from this approach because they’re getting a part that has been thoroughly tested on the track first, and is already proven to perform under demanding conditions.
The new Mustang debuts this week, and we look forward to seeing and hopefully testing Kenny Brown’s GT3 in the near future. With Brown’s over 25 years of Mustang and competition tuning experience behind it, the 2015 GT3 will no doubt be his best Mustang yet.
