Your foot is to the floor. The black and whites are closing in. Sirens are wailing and multiple cars are closing in. It would appear that you made a really bad decision or you are about to wake up from a nightmare. That’s not quite the case, however. Thanks to Police Chase Las Vegas, you can run from the cops or get behind the wheel in hot pursuit of a suspect.
Everyone at some point has dreamed of what it would be like to be a police officer, or to run from the cops without consequence. — Damian Sheets, Police Chase Las Vegas
“We are very excited to make Las Vegas Motor Speedway the home of Police Chase Las Vegas,” said Police Chase Las Vegas partner Damian Sheets. “We bring such a unique, one-of-a-kind, adrenaline-pumping experience, unlike anything anywhere in the country outside of Las Vegas, that people who try it, are absolutely blown away. Everyone at some point has dreamed of what it would be like to be a police officer, or to run from the cops without consequence. This is your chance.”
That chance, like running from the police in the real world, comes with a price. Thankfully, this is just for fun, and the price tag is pretty reasonable. For $179 you can be the officer or the suspect in a police chase and receive coaching from one of several former officers as part of the Police Chase Experience. For just $109 you can participate in the PIT Maneuvers package wherein you will learn the finer points of Pursuit Intervention Techniques, which includes blocking, stopping, and spinning out the suspect car. If you want to run the full gamut of experiences, $486 will bundle them all in the Calling All Cars Package.
“Police Chase Las Vegas is going to be a thrilling attraction for anyone who takes part,” Las Vegas Motor Speedway President Chris Powell said. “Nowhere else in the world can a person take advantage of this type of automotive activity. Our speedway often has been called the world’s most diverse motorsports facility, and the addition of Police Chase Las Vegas underscores that diversity. It will offer a unique experience that is certain to create many memorable moments for every customer. We’re looking forward to this new and exciting partnership.”
Police Chase Las Vegas is set to open in mid-January of 2019, so if you are heading to Sin City next year, it looks like another great way to have fun behind the wheel. For more on the experience, you can check out the company’s official site here.
