If you are in the market for a hot hauler that will get your family around in swift style, the 2019 Edge ST is about to arrive on dealer lots. Now its Build & Price site is live, so you can chose your options and see which ones fit into your budget. Ford says its latest performance SUV is the only midsize utility to offer this level of performance under $43,000.

“There is white space in the market right now, and Edge ST will fill it,” Cristina Aquino, Ford Edge brand marketing manager, said. “There is nothing like the new Edge ST. As far as true performance SUVs at this price point, Edge ST is really one of a kind.”

To get to that level it is powered by a 2.7-liter EcoBoost engine that delivers 335 horsepower and 380 lb-ft of torque. An eight-speed automatic transmission doles that performance out with help from a Sport driving mode and adjustable traction control settings. And, naturally, it rides on a sport-tuned suspension.

“This thing really moves – around corners, from a stop and on straightaways,” Tom Ozog, Ford Edge chief program engineer, said. “It’s a true Ford ST driving experience in an SUV.”

The Edge ST Build & Price site is live and you can choose the options that will price out your new hot hauler from $42,355 to $52,124. Among those options are a performance brake upgrade, a tech-laden convenience group, and a package prepped for cold climates.

If you want to maximize that performance you can add some substantial option packages including a Cold Weather Package ($495), a Convenience Package ($835), and the ST Performance Brake Package ($2,695). After checking all those boxes, it will top out at $52,124, but you can decide which extras you want to order on the Build & Price site right here.
