Pinto Project Finally Running

Pinto
FM member “71HotRodPinto”, who has been a solid FordMuscle forums contributor since 2002, deserves some homepage time for his recent accomplishment. His 5 year Pinto 302 conversion project is finally running. To gain full appreciation for what he’s overcome, it appears from the video below that he did it all in his apartment complex’s carport. To comment or find out more about his project, ask 71HotRodPinto himself in the FM Video Forum where his annoucement was officially made. Nice work from the FM staff.

Original Post: Pinto is finally running. Still more to do though.

  2. Boy does this bring back memorries…my first car was a 73 Pinto Wagon after Dad blew the first engine and my brother was lent the car against my will and blew the second engine,( by the way I bought it for 90 dollars and an old moped ) dad felt bad so together we stuffed a 400 small block down in her. badest little pony around! (belonging to a twelve year old) who bought and paid for himself.

  4. Hey thanks for the recognition!
Actually i never made this clear, but 75% of the work was completed at my friends house 45 miles away. That was a trek back and forth on the weekends for over 3.5 years. After my buddies wife could tolerate it no more (understanibly) I moved it to my carport for about 4 months. Then moved it to my Father in laws garage area down the street. That went sour in 4 months. Now back in my carport for about a year finishing the wiring details, carpet, and little odds n ends… On the SLY (not supposed to be) Thanks Again for the nice Recoginition!!!

  5. CONGRAT’S! “The little horse that can!”
