In the name of project diversity, the subject of FordMuscle’s “Project MX” is for sale. The car has been with us (me) for 2 years now and has served its’ duty as the foundation of many great tech articles. While myself and the FordMuscle staff would prefer to hang on to it, FordMuscle project cars are worked on and garaged in the homes of individual FordMuscle staff members. Just like you, staff members have got to make rational decisions about how many cars they can possibly maintain on their own. Since the staff has decided a 70’s F-Series 4×4 is a logical next project for the magazine and I’ll be the one working on it, something’s got to go at my house to make room for the truck. You’ve see the resurrection and upgrades performed on this site in the Project Cars section. A summary of the car can also be found at www.cardomain.com. While the Montego isn’t the prettiest one we’ve seen, it’s an awesome foundation for a Ford enthusiast. Runs great and has many excellent upgraded components. The car is currently on Ebay for sale. See Ebay listing. Please email jon@fordmuscle.com for more info.

By fred414141. January 26th, 2007 at 4:56 pmgreat! a truck for the masses! (btw,i.unlike some others,see this as a ~ford~ site,not a ‘this-model or that-model’ site. perhaps a future project might be like 1 of my cars. the wife drives a ‘77 LTD 4 door with a 400.
By fred414141. January 26th, 2007 at 4:54 pmsure,a near 5000 pound 4door sedan ain’t a fuel injected cobra mustang or a turboed 5.0 powered whatever, but there are tons of them out there, and they are dirt cheap to buy as well as rock tough and dependable.
turn all truck enthusiastics on to better hp parts for the 2006 harley davidson.an where the best place to buy.
