Jacky Jones’ Carolina Cruise Night Draws Some Killer Fords

Jacky Jones is a name synonymous Fords and Mustangs more specifically. His dad bought the local Ford dealership in Hayesville, North Carolina back in 1959 and as they say, the rest is history. Jacky now owns over a half a dozen dealerships and is one of the most avid Ford collectors in the country, with some of the finest examples of 1965-1972 Mustangs in existence in his collection.

One of the highlights of the cruise in was this Jody Ridley NASCAR replica car, driven to the event by none other than Jody Ridley himself. He was the 1980 NASCAR Winston Cup Rookies Of The Year and campaigned a similar Ford Falcon on the local dirt tracks of Georgia back in the late ’60s and ’70s. This car is street legal, but features a racing engine from legendary engine builder Ernie Elliott, made famous for creating powerplants for his brother, NASCAR Hall Of Fame member Bill Elliott. The car sits on a mid ’90s NASCAR chassis.

So its no surprise that the annual customer appreciation cruise night at his Dodge dealership in Hayesville draws out a huge crowd of cool cars — the majority of them wearing the Blue Oval. The 2018 edition was no exception, check out our huge gallery below for all the cool Fords in attendance…

Of all the Ford's in attendance, the Ford truck was probably most well represented. From early F1's all the way up to the mid 70's, there was a little bit of everything. From show winners to cool patina'd pieces. There was definitely no shortage of awesome Ford Pick Up Trucks to look at!
