Race seats never match the interior — Waylon Krumrie, TMI ProductsSome people need race seats for support and safety. Some people want race seats because they look cool. Either way, having those supportive seats meant sacrificing the integrated look of your factory interior. That’s because race seats are almost always black.
“Race seats never match the interior,” TMI Products Sales Manager Waylon Krumrie explained. “Even if you don’t need provisions for a harness, but you want that look you would have to sacrifice having a gray interior with black seat or a beige interior with a black seat.”
With its race seats already in development, Waylon was inspired by some of the cars at last year’s Mustang Week to create factory Ford original vinyl-covered race seats for Mustangers who want to drive fast but have their style too.
“You can get a Titanium race seat. You can get an Opal race seat. You can get a Sand Beige race seat, or a Porno Red race seat to match your interior,” he said with a smile.
These seats are currently available at CJ Pony Parts and for more on TMI’s offerings, you can visit its official site here.
