Back in February, Ford Racing told us about the BOSS 302S, with the build process underway at Watson Racing in Michigan, and we’re back to tell you that the full run of cars has been completed at this point. Some of the cars are sporting a new-for-2014 Satin Black paint option, which we happen to love. 

The road racers are sold for $89,995 and include some of the best road-racing parts on the planet, designed to put the BOSS 302S into the winner’s circle.In fact, since the car’s reintroduction to the Ford Racing program in 2011, the car has won the World Challenge GTS Manufacturers Championship, the World Challenge GTS Driver’s Championship, the World Challenge GTS Team Championship, NASA’s American Iron Championship along with the NASA ST2 Championship.

Watson Racing has been hard at work over the last several months assembling the cars, which were offered in Oxford White, Grabber Blue, and the aforementioned Satin Black finish.

“Most of the 2014 Mustang BOSS 302S race cars are used for open track events. Chris Outzen took his Oxford White 2014 Boss 302S and is competing in the World Challenge GTS series. Ford Racing expects more cars to enter SCCA/NASA/WC competition next year,” says Ford Racing Parts’ Andrew Casselberry. 

Road-race specific parts on the BOSS include Dynamic three-way-adjustable coil-over dampers, specific front lower control arms, adjustable front swaybar, caster/camber plates, and the six-point roll cage with beefed-up door bar sections. The cage has been designed to provide driver protection in all conditions with additional bars and gusseting throughout.

One thing is for sure – the BOSS 302S is positioned to continue its run of success within the road-racing world, thanks to the efforts of Ford Racing and the numerous teams that campaign these cars.
