Until a few years ago, the Fox Mustang T-Top coupe was a bit of a unicorn. Some people had heard they existed, but few had actually saw one in person. According to Marti Auto Works, only 6,009 T-Top Coupes were ever built between 1981 and 1986, making them one of the more rare Foxes in the wild.
In recent years however, several high-end builds and project cars have showed up in magazines and on the Internet and have helped boost the popularity of the T-Top coupe.  With this popularity, more coupes have emerged from the shadows, but they are still some of the Holy Grail Foxes.
You have probably seen this black, 1984 Ford Mustang T-Top Coupe before, as it’s been featured in a couple of magazines and and won awards at numerous major car shows around the country. It features a modern Coyote 5.0 liter engine as well as some simple, well-thought-out upgrades making this one of the cleanest Fox T-top coupes we have ever laid eyes on.
Even with the over-the-top Coyote swap, the car still features a simple, four-lug wheel, basically stock interior except for some upgraded seats and all the original body lines and panels. The result is a clean appearance that makes you take a second look to notice an impressive street machine!

He was looking to get $42,000 for the car as shown in the listing, which ended. It’s up to you to determine if that is a fair price or not, but we can tell you this is a lot of car here for the money. You would be hard pressed to find a solid T-top coupe body and build it to this level for less.
