It appears the 2018 Mustang order banks will open for business in mid-July and prospective owners will have a few new options to consider.
As we recently learned, that the most famous of Sith Lords, Darth Vader, inspired the design of the 2018 Mustang front end. If you were looking to join the dark side, you might be curious about what else the forthcoming pony car might have to offer. Well, a few more details have emerged online.
While the build and price site with all the details hasn’t launched yet, but recent Ford information reveals that Job 1 for the 2018 Mustang is slated for October 2, 2017, while order banks are said to open on July 17, 2017, so we should learn a lot more by that time.
Ford’s 2018 Fleet Preview Guide details many of the options available on the forthcoming Mustang.
Until then, the 2018 Fleet Preview Guide hit the internet with a couple of pages dedicated to the new Mustang. It doesn’t reveal the juicy details, like the horsepower and torque ratings, which are curiously unlisted for both the 2.3 and 5.0. However, there are a few interesting tidbits to be found, like a full list and samples (save for the Midnight Blue interior) of exterior and interior colors. The guide also lists the presence of some intriguing trim options, like the Carbon Sport Appearance Package (Sign us up!).
Obviously we’ve been looking forward to learning more about the available options and the output of the two engine options. Now we are really curious to see that Midnight Blue interior as well as that Carbon Sport package.
