Built for competition and proven in 2011 Pirelli World Challenge Championships, Baer Brakes’ new GA-4 caliper was designed from the beginning for the peak demands of professional road racers. The GA-4 caliper is built in conformance with World Challenge and Grand Am series requirements.
The GA-4 is also designed with the racer in mind. The high stiffness caliper fits any standard 14-inch by 1.25-inch thick brake rotor and accepts the standard DR-11 racing brake pad.
Versions are available either for 18mm or 25mm thick brake pads. The Baer GA-4 caliper was also designed to use a quick release brake pad retainer, because less time in the pits means more time racing.
These brake calipers are being proven on Paul Brown’s #50 Boss 302S Mustang, which currently leads the GTS class of the 2011 Pirelli World Challenge Championships. Characterized by short (50 min.) races on fast tracks, the importance of consistently high performance levels and reliability cannot be overstated. This is where Baer delivers with their GA-4 brake caliper.
Tiger Racing, out of Covina, CA, has long been associated with World Challenge competition. Brown and the rest of the Tiger Racing team built the Boss 302S Mustang in just a few weeks before last year’s SEMA Show.
