Several times a year Mustangs Unlimited hosts car shows at their two locations in Connecticut and Georgia. With the weather finally getting warmer in the northeast USA, it’s time for the first one to commence. This coming Sunday, April 28, Mustangs Unlimited along with the Shelby American Automobile Club of New England will host their first Mustang and Ford Power Meet of 2013.

In the past some of the Connecticut location car shows have brought out as many as 350 cars, making this a big draw for any Ford fan. Mustangs Unlimited typically brings in some manufacturers as well, to display their hottest new products for Fords and Mustangs, which adds something that you don’t get at your local neighborhood car show.

Trophies are typically awarded in several of the classes for cars entered in the shows. Registration for the show opens at 9 am on Sunday morning and closes at 11 am. Judging will take place from noon to 2 pm, with awards handed out at 3 pm. There is a rain date set as well for May 5, should mother nature not cooperate.

If you’re in the New England area this is an excellent opportunity to get together with some of your fellow Mustang and Ford buddies, who you may not have seen since last fall when everyone’s cars went into hibernation for the winter. You probably don’t have anything better to do this Sunday afternoon anyway right?
