As the all-new Ford Mustang officially arrives in global markets for the first time, the fever for the Mustang extends universally across the globe, research is revealing regional variations in top color preferences among buyers. Ford says early data results are indicating that black and red are clinching the top spots as the most favored hues of choice as a whole.
The top color choice in the United States remains black with Magnetic Metallic and Ruby Red trailing. Ford says taking the top spot in China, with thirty five percent of all orders placed choosing Race Red with Oxford white and Absolute Black following. With one in twelve Chinese now aware of the Mustang more than five-million potential Chinese consumers have visited the Ford website with 18,000 signing up to take the Mustang for a test drive.
Europe appears to have also caught the Mustang fever, after one month of being available for order over one million versions of the Ford Mustang were configured on the Ford Europe website. Race Red appears to be the color of choice, coming in at number one, followed by Absolute Black.Deep Impact blue is overall the third most popular choice among the Europeans and it did grab second place in both the United Kingdom and Italy where it is tied with Race Red behind Absolute black.The Mustang is the number one selling musclecar in America, up thirty-two percent in sales in February, with the Mustang demand high on a global scale, early trends and data results are showing some interesting regional similarities and differences in preferences among the global pony enthusiasts.
