Give away cars are nothing new. We’ve featured numerous give away Mustangs and other Fords here before. If you’ve already got one or two Mustangs in the garage and you need a family hauler then you may be in luck.

Four Michigan based companies have teamed up to give away a new Ford Fusion Energi plug in hybrid car later this summer. There are some perks to just being selected as a finalist for this giveaway that make taking a few minutes to enter even more worthwhile.

The four finalists will receive one month of their mortgage paid by sponsor Quicken Loans. Each of the finalists also gets a four night vacation courtesy of Pure Michigan, at one of several hotels in scenic and popular destinations.

Finalists also get a free RV rental and campsites for the NASCAR race at Michigan International Speedway in August. This package will also include two passes to the race, garage passes, passes to the Champions Club, and pace car rides.

A fifth finalist will also be introduced along with the other four during the pre race ceremonies. After their introductions, each finalist will choose a key and get a chance to try to start the car. The finalist with the right key gets to take the pace car home.

This is the first time a plug in hybrid has paced a NASCAR race. The Fusion Energi is a new model this year, with the benefits of styling, comfort and space offered by the new Ford Fusion. The car is also expected to achieve 100 MPGe, making it the most fuel efficient mid size car sold in America.
