This newest take on an Uber-Snake comes from the prolific German tuner, Geiger Cars in Munich. This proof of concept version benefits from a upgraded 2.3-liter supercharger that pushes the output up to 640 hp at the rear wheels, hence the new designation.

In typical Geiger style, the car has also been fitted with an H&R coilover conversion and a Geiger-developed sport exhaust. According to the company, this Golden Snake now hits 62 mph (100 km/h) in 3.7 seconds and has a top speed of 184 mph (295 km/h).

Providing more than just good looks, the carbon fiber hood channels intake air to the engine, while venting heat and reducing pressure buildup under the hood. A Shelby logo has also been added within the carbon fiber itself.

The matte gold finish on most of the car is unique and, according to reports, takes on a unique look at dawn and dusk. The same gold color is reflected as an accent on the matte black wheels.

The staggered fitment puts 8.5 by 20-inch versions on the front, with hefty 10 by 20-inch versions out back. Working at the relatively thankless job of keeping the back end under control are Michelin Pilot Sport tires, with a low 285/30ZR20 profile. The front end uses the 255/35ZR20 version.

If anyone gets American iron into Europe faster that Geiger, well, we don’t know who it might be. In a land of silver Mercedes products, this car is certainly going to turn more heads than Maria Sharapova at a tennis match. If that’s what you want to do, these are certainly the people you need to see.
