While baseball diamonds around the country are getting a break, a South Carolina native recently hit one over the fence. Hankook Tire has announced the grand prize winner of its national “Great Hit” Giveaway. Tonya Bullard, a medical coding specialist from South Carolina, was randomly selected to win a Ford Mustang Shelby GT500.

Ms. Bullard was presented the key to her new 2011 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 last week at Keith Hawthorne Ford-Lincoln in Charlotte, NC by Soo Il Lee, president of Hankook Tire America Corp, along with Bullard’s family and Hankook representatives.

Hankook Tire’s “Great Hit” Giveaway was the second of two successful baseball-themed promotions held last year. The Mail-in Rebate program was available to consumers who purchase four select Hankook tires from September 1 through November 30 from any authorized Hankook retailer. The tires included were the Ventus V12 evo, the Ventus V4 ES, the Optimo H727 and the Ventus AS.

“The Great Hit Giveaway program was a way for Hankook to not only give something back to consumers who are loyal to our brand, but the rebates and giveaway that were part of the program were also a way for us to attract new consumers to the Hankook brand and offer them something in return,” said Lee.
