Josh Rivers’ 2015 Mustang Is Right Out Of A Sci-Fi Movie

Life is short, so you should embrace your passions. For Josh Rivers, he loves science fiction and obviously loves Mustangs. Like most of us, he wanted to set his 2015 Mustang apart from the crowd. After getting bit by the modification bug when upgrading his S550’s audio system, Josh turned to Apex Customs in Phoenix, Arizona, to revamp its look.

The Apex crew upgraded the headlights, added larger wheels and Nitto NT-555 tires and then applied a full 3M Sheer Luck vinyl wrap in green. The result is a Mustang that looks like it blasted right off the set of Tron. However, the appearance mods aren’t the only tweaks to this six-cylinder automatic. It also features hand controls, because of an unfortunate turn of events in Josh’s life.

His green-wrapped ’Stang also features green halo headlights and a host of LED lighting upgrades including green fog lights, green daytime running lamps, and green accent lighting behind the grille.

“In December of 2010, Rivers was the innocent victim of a random shooting leaving him paralyzed from the waist down,” says Apex Customs. “Still in therapy for a spinal-cord injury, Rivers hasn’t let a momentary weakness keep him down. For now, hand controls give him the confidence he needs and the freedom of the open road.”
