As we travel the country to bring you coverage of the coolest Ford muscle out there, we never know how many Fords we might spot, especially at a show open to all makes and models. Sometimes national shows bring out dozens of solid Fords, other times the numbers are limited. The same thing goes with the smaller shows. Many times they are full of Ford muscle, other times there are only a few Blue Ovals in the field. You never know what you are going to get until you get there.
Recently, on our way back from the monthly swap meet at Atlanta Dragway, an event popped up at a church in the small town of Alto, Georgia, population 1,172. It was on the way, so we decided to take the 20-minute side trip off the interstate and check it out — and we sure are glad we did! A pair of Boss 302 Mustangs; several really clean first-generation Mustangs; a half dozen or so modern Mustangs; a few Ford-powered street rods; and a near mint Ford F100 were all on hand just to name a few.
