Meet the Mustang Trike. Yep, that’s right. It’s a Mustang trike with the rear end being a from a 1967 Ford Mustang and the front of a motorcycle, of course. This highly modified Mustang Trike features a 289 cubic inch Windsor V8 bored to a 302. That monster motor is mated with a C4 automatic transmission and also a 9-inch differential. It’s motorcycle meets Mustang and one hell of a head turner.
It has the full rear end of a classic custom painted 1967 Ford Mustang (complete with flames), but instead of a steering wheel up front you’ve got handlebars. Somebody had a lot of motivation to put together a one-of-a-kind build that has taken hours upon hours of dedicated fabrication to come up with such a concoction.
The build, considering all the fabrication, only took about 2 years total to complete. It was recently for sale on eBay, however, it didn’t receive any bids with the asking price of $34,445. It’s something that’s cool to look at most definitely, but takes someone special to own. We know a few people that may like to take this for a spin around the ‘hood.
With the amount of trophies in front of this crazy conversion, it seems as if his build has been appreciated quite a few times. It’s definitely different, that’s for sure. Whether it’s liked and appreciated, it depends on the person. Some can appreciate the hard work put into such a project, but others may just have one question for the owner… Why?
