It’s Mustang Girl Monday brought to you by Team Mustang Girls!  This week we’re riding along with Steph Vilarino, wife, mother, Mustang owner, oh and did we mention, barrel racer! Now that’s hot!

Steph has been into cars and horses her whole life.  But as a teen she chose the horse route.  As time went on she continued to dream of owning a muscle car. Last year that dream came true when she picked out her first Mustang.  Steph says “The other cars I test drove just didn’t compete with the Mustang.”  And so she became the proud owner of “R3d”, a 2013 Red Candy V6 Premium Mustang topped off with Recaro seats.  

As a  mother of 3 boys Steph tells us, “When I am in need of some Me time I barrel race with my horse, Cash.  A girls gotta have her hobbies!”  Cash has been a part of her family for 4 years and  is a 13 American Appendix Horse. But soon Cash won’t be the only one providing Steph with a ride at the racetracks.  She has plans to upgrade the exhaust and engine.  Steph is also considering a GT or possibly a 65 Mustang to restore.  It looks as though Steph has fallen hard for her four wheeled horse as well,  “Right now I am grateful to have a Mustang.  I’m enjoying my new ride so much I registered her with RMR, Red Mustang Registry.  I have many road adventures to come!”
