That’s right, you read the title correctly. Legendary NASCAR driver Richard Petty will be in the Ford Racing booth (#1925) at the upcoming Performance Racing Industry show in Indianapolis on Thursday, December 12th.
Why will he be there? Well, first off, he’ll be signing autographs from 9:45 to 10:45AM, prior to the unveiling of the wildly-anticipated brand-new 2015 Mustang GT. At 11AM, it’ll be time to pull the wraps off the car and give everyone at the PRI Show a chance to ogle it up-close and in-person.
Just in case you’ve been living under a rock, Ford Motor Company unveiled the all-new, significantly-better Mustang to the world this past Thursday, and we were on hand to document the entire day during the Los Angeles portion of the worldwide event.
Mustang Chief Engineer Dave Pericak will also be on hand to help Petty with the unveiling process – a day that’s sure to be talked about by everyone who attends the 2013 PRI Show. If you’re going to be in Indy next week, you don’t want to miss this.
Along with Petty and Pericak, many of Ford’s upper echelon will be on hand including a full contingent of Ford Racing personnel, to answer questions about the new car, its development, the powertrain options, and more.
Remember – Booth #1925, Thursday, December 12th, at 9:45 AM. Rub elbows with Richard Petty, then drool over the 2015 Mustang.
Ford is anticipating a huge crush of racing enthusiasts and aftermarket manufacturers to come and see the car in person, so you want to get there early and stake out your spot. We’ll be there with bells on!
