Saleen Celebrates Anniversary With 730HP Edition

Thirty years ago Saleen staked its claim as a race-bred, small-volume manufacturer when its racing team notched the 1987 Driver, Manufacturer, Team, and Tire SCCA ESCORT Endurance Championships. To celebrate the anniversary of that accomplishment, the company is releasing a commemorative edition and renewing the affiliation with its tire sponsor from back in the day.

Our dealers have asked for it and we know the market is ready for it. This new Saleen Mustang is a perfect match for the G-MAX RS.”

In addition to the new General Tire rubber on those signature white wheels, the Saleen Championship Commemorative Editions are boosted to 730 horsepower courtesy of a liquid-cooled Saleen/Kenne Bell twin-screw supercharger. These cars feature unique exhaust systems, short-throw shifters, high-performance radiators, four-point roll bars, rear-seat deletes, harness belts, and more.
