A few months ago during the SEMA show we introduced our readers to the Shelby Venice wheel, a new forged wheel being made exclusively for Shelby American by Weld Racing. Weld and Shelby’s alliance provides a wheel that meets some very high manufacturing and performance standards, in a package that is undeniably attractive.

While the wheels were initially rolled out on a special edition 2014 Super Snake built specially for Weld Racing, this week we learned that they’ll also be available on the all new 2015 Shelby GT. Shown here in black finish, the wheels measure 20×9.5-inches front and 20×10.5-inches in the rear.

The Venice wheels are lightweight and are exclusively provided to Shelby American by Weld Racing. These wheels are designed to meet the demanding standards of high performance street cars and high performance driving.

The Venice wheels are constructed to the same high standards that Weld has used for decades in creating wheels for high performance cars and trucks. The 10-spoke design should be available in either black or polished finishes.

The wheels come as standard equipment on the Shelby GT, no word yet on that pricing of that car when it hits streets later this year. The Venice wheels will be wrapped in Michelin rubber, 275/35/20 in the front, and 305/30/20 in the rear.

If you can’t afford a new Shelby GT or one of the limited edition Super Snakes, you can also get your hands on these wheels by ordering them through Shelby American.
