This Saturday August 16 is the American Muscle Car show. Set to be one of the biggest and best single day Mustang events of the year the AM show will be bigger and better than ever.

This year’s AM show has moved to legendary Maple Grove Raceway. The move allows for several major additions to this year’s show. First of all Maple Grove’s huge facility will allow AM to pack more Mustangs into their show than ever before. The second and probably coolest to us, is the drag racing. Participants will be able to use this first class facility to get some drag racing in. Whether you’re experienced heading down the strip, wanna race that buddy that’s always badgering you about how his car is faster, or just want to get your first experience on the track, the strip will be open for use.

Just like in years past, the AM show will be raising money for charity. Last year the show raised an amazing $20,000 for Alex’s Lemonade Stand, This year the charity is Special Olympics and AM wants to blow the doors off last year’s big number.

Of course there will be some big names in attendance as well. Drifting sensation Vaughn Gttin Jr. will be on hand. We’re sure Gititn will be pulling some crazy stunts and signing plenty of autographs for the fans. The guru of cool car designs Chip Foose will also be on hand as well. Foose will be signing autographs, and we wouldn’t be surprised to see him picking a few of the car show winners again. Brett Wagner aka Big Schwag of Pass Time and Monster Garage fame will be on hand. Brett will be signing autographs as well, and we’re sure he’ll be checking out the drag racing action and all the cool cars. Of course what would the AM car show be without the American Muscle Girls, these lovely ladies will be on hand posing for pics and helping out with the show.

There’s tons of prizes to be given away, food, music, kids activities, celebrities, beautiful girls and a big announcement from Vaughn Gittin Jr. So set your GPS for Maple Grove Raceway this Saturday and take part in the American Muscle Car Show!
