Skyler Polaski owns Cambridge Motorsports in Springfield, Missouri. Cambridge Motorsports specializes in mid- to high-end vehicles. “I’ve always really liked Mustangs, though,” Polaski says. “The new platform on these vehicles is unbeatable for the price,” he adds.

“We’ve been working on these for a little while, and we had another Hellion-powered 2015 GT automatic in the shop before Polaski’s. That gave us a chance to iron everything out on these cars,” says Triangle Speed Shop’s sales manager Colby Padgett. Though it might fool some into thinking this is a single turbo, the inlet pipe covers up the other turbo from this view. Look closely, and you’ll see the driver side turbo.
Polaski is obviously no stranger to Mustangs, and this is his 2015 GT. He bought the car new, and the GT didn’t remain stock for long. He added an Airlift Performance airbag suspension, and HRE FF01 wheels in a custom bronze finish, with Nitto Extreme Drag radials out back to give the car some attitude. However, the car needed the power to match the car’s improved exterior disposition.
To accomplish that, he first installed Triangle Speed Shop’s oil pump gears and crank sprocket. Then Polaski installed a Hellion Power Systems twin-turbocharger system using Precision 6266 turbochargers. To support the power, he also added a Fore Innovations return-style fuel system using twin 465 fuel pumps, along with Injector Dynamics ID1000 fuel injectors. Living in the midwest, it only makes sense that Polaski’s GT runs on E85.

On Triangle Speed Shop’s Mustang Dynamometer, Polaski’s 2015 GT automatic made 728-rwhp and 741-rwq using E85, and SCT software.
After the Hellion system was installed, Polaski needed a tuner. Not having great luck in the past, his friend Matt Hazel recommended Triangle Speed for the tune, as well. Hazel takes all of his cars to Triangle, and always had good luck so he talked Polaski into towing 13-hours one way to Triangle in Orange, Texas for the tune. Triangle’s Daniel Pachar emailed Polaski a start-up tune so the car could run under its own power to make sure everything was operating as they should with the turbo install.
Polaski’s GT features a 6R80 automatic, and Triangle already had experience with the Hellion/6R80 combination, and they used SCT software to enable Polaski’s GT to pound out 728-rwhp and 741-rwtq on the company Mustang Dynamometer.
