It looks like Russia has some powerful ideas in regards to building some high-performance super cars with more power than the average person will ever need.
The Russian-based tuning company called Total Race has been conjuring up some sick projects lately, with the last build being a Lamborghini Gallardo. This time around they are going American turbocharged with this super impressive vehicle, the Saleen S7.
Already a beast to be reckoned with straight out of the gate, they’ve managed to turn this into a twin-turbo project worthy of 2,000 ground-pounding horsepower – with even more on race fuel.
This R7 is likely sporting some massive displacement such bored and stroked Ford 427 big block. The engine was built up by US based Proline Racing, who supposedly works with big tuner brands. According to GTspirit, it could possibly be sporting a GM engine instead or the original Ford one.
While this thing is capable of massive amounts of power, it still runs on pump fuel at the 2,000 horsepower level. When adding the specially formulated race fuel that number jumps to about 2,500 hp. While a previous twin-turbo set up on a Saleen S7 generated about 750 rear wheel horsepower and topped out at 248 miles per hour, this baby makes two and a half times that amount of power.
Your normal race cars aren’t sporting a fraction of this sort of power, as having that amount of power under your feet might be a bit intimidating to say the least. We’d like to see them take this bad boy out for a run.
