The Flowmaster sound was made famous with the Fox body Mustang, and that tradition of classic Flowmaster sound continues with the all new 2015 Mustang GT. The video above features sound clips of the Flowmaster Outlaw exhaust system both pre and post installation, and the Outlaw series cat-back is an excellent choice for your GT if you have performance in-mind as well. The exhaust is made of 409S stainless-steel featuring 3-inch diameter tubing, it is completely mandrel bent, and leads into a pair of two 4-inch double-wall polished tips.

One thing you’ll want to take notice of is that this system is a true 3-inch exhaust system, meaning both the muffler inlet and outlet diameter is 3-inches,. And as always, Flowmaster incorporates the use of its race inspired baffle-type welded mufflers to achieve that aggressive tone you’re after in its cat-back exhaust system.

Another thing you’ll want to note is that this entire cat-back system is emissions legal and is dyno tuned for maximum performance, so expect to make additional power when bolting this system up to your GT. When it comes to installation, Flowmaster says the system is designed for an easy fit and includes all necessary parts and hardware for installation, so even for the novice of mechanics, installing this system should take you only a couple of hours at most.
